Portrait Photography enables me to shoot many varieties of portraiture - actors and corporate head shots (in studio or on location); couples (engagement/proposal); families, pregnancy and the list goes on.

I am also available to photograph events such as Corporate events (awards, dinners, afternoon teas, styled shoots) and family events (such as 21st birthdays etc).
I have been behind a camera most of my life, mostly using film and gravitating to digital in 2009. Since my children finished their high school years and are settled in their university studies or working, I felt it was time to further my passion for photography and I embarked on a Bachelor of Photography with the Queensland College of Art (Griffith University) in 2011. I am also a student member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP).
I believe ongoing education is paramount as a professional photographer. Continually updating the skills required to provide a level of professionalism that I believe is necessary in today's digital world. I am constantly undergoing Professional Development in the form of workshops by eminent photographers such as William Long, Australian Commercial Photographer of the Year (AIPP) 2013 and others like Kelly Brown and Erin Elizabeth. I avail myself to the multitude of seminars, workshops and tutorials available from the AIPP as well as continuing my Photography Degree at the Qld College of Art.
Educating myself via AIPP organised events such as Hair of the Dog (HOTD) and the Nikon Event also help me keep up to date with my skills.
I work with natural light and studio, having set up my own studio in my home in Canungra, a hinterland township which is a comfortable 30min drive from the Gold Coast.
